“Here be dragons!”

On 21 August 2018, Andrew McClelland and Daragh McDonough (Donegal County Council) will give a double-talk at Donegal County Museum as part of Heritage Week 2018. The talks will focus on how online mapping can improve participation in place-making and prospectively deliver better outcomes for local areas. Specifically, the speakers will discuss #MyValuedPlaces, an online map-based survey undertaken in 2017, and Donegal Placenames, a crowdsourcing approach to recording local place names using mapping technology.
